A DREAM FOR SELF-RELIANCE

"All human beings are born free and equal in dignity & rights"

Some Alarming Facts :

  • In most of the countries, one out of every ten persons suffers from disability.

  • More than half of world's PWDs* lack access to basic and essential services.

  • There is a clear link between poverty and disability.

  • War, unhealthy living conditions, absence of knowledge about causes, prevention and treatment of disability are some of the common factors that account for the rising number and social exclusion of persons with disabilities.

Disability may have rendered us challenged. Some of us may even have cerebral palsy. Destiny has deprived us of some basic abilities but we are blessed with internal strength to fight against all odds. Emotionally undeterred by our disabilities, we dream of leading a dignified life. A life of self-reliance.

For a decade, SPARC-India has taken an initiative to rehabilitate Children with Disabilities (CWDs) and PWDs. To sustain this generous effort, we look forward to your support.

Our effort is to mitigate the gaps

and encourage self-reliance
